The Almas Temple is a building facing Franklin Square at 1315 K St NW in Washington, DC. It was designed in the Moorish Revival style. It was constructed in 1929 by Allen H. Potts, a member of the temple. It currently serves as the headquarters for the "Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine" (A.A.O.N.M.S.), also known as the Shriners. Five stories tall, it was restored and relocated to its current location in 1987 to make way for a new office complex. == In literature ==
